Hi I'm Elin Thomas. I'm a designer with a focus on creating interpretive exhibitions and graphics for the cultural sector. Prior to running my own practice, I worked as an in-house designer at various cultural organisations including Sydney Living Museums (now Museums of History), the State Library of NSW, and the British Museum.
I love exhibitions because they provide an opportunity for people to engage with objects, stories and ideas in real life. And I love my role as a designer because I get to collaborate with passionate, awesome people to help bring these stories to life. Every project is very different, there's always something new to see and learn.
My design services include concept generation, item documentation, design development, creating and delivering visual presentations, construction drawings, production coordination, and installation. If you have a project I can help with, I would love to hear from you.
